Good news for those who seek to work temporarily as a child care provider or home support worker in Canada. The Canadian government is inviting applications from experienced people for Home Child Care Provider Pilot and Home Support Worker Pilot. All you need is to meet the criteria required. Later on, you can apply for permanent residence once you meet the required work experience for permanent residence. And what more exciting is that you can bring along family your members.
Eligibility for Caregiver Program
* An experience in child care or home support works but not less than 24 months.
* For permanent residence, this experience must be of two years after temporarily working in Canada.
Process of Application
Foreigners (people outside Canada)
* Submit an application for any one of the caregiver programs along with an application for PR, if you are opting for permanent residence.
* Later on if the candidate meets the eligibility criteria, you get a temporary work permit.
* Once gaining at least 2 years of Canadian work experience, you are eligible to become a permanent resident of Canada.
* If an employee wishes to bring a family member along with them, add their study or work permit application along with yours.
Residents of Canada
* If you are already working as a caregiver in Canada, complete and earn two-year work experience by applying for any of these caregiver programs.
* Afterwards you are eligible to apply for permanent residence.
